Dr. Dawn Ella Diehnelt

 Dr. Dawn Diehnelt has enjoyed working as a dentist for more than twenty years. Although a native midwesterner, she earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from the University of Washington, in Seattle, and practiced dentistry in California and overseas before choosing to settle in the Chicago area.
Dr. Diehnelt did her undergraduate studies at the University of Iowa in Japanese and has spent a few years in Japan studying its language and culture. She also earned Masters Degrees in both International Affairs and Economics. Results of her studies and dental research were published here and abroad.
Dr. D. volunteers as a Girl Scout Leader.  Formerly she was a mentor for girls in the OMNI Youth Services program.  She is also a member of the Rolling Meadows Police Neighborhood Resource Center Foundation Board.
Dr. Diehnelt is credentialed and is on staff at Northwest Community Hospital.
Nayeli Flores is a graduate of Elk Grove High School and has been working as a dental assistant …and receptionist since then.
She quickly became competent in both chairside assisting and front desk operations.  She understands insurance issues well, and is helpful to patients trying to get the most from their insurance benefits. Her understanding of dental diseases and their treatments is also a great asset to the office.
Nayeli is passionate about her work and desires to help others. She shares the office philosophy of trying to prevent cavities and gum disease.  Her fluency in both English and Spanish enable her to help communicate with and educate many patients.
Nayeli is currently a student at Harper Community College.
