Hi, my name is Dawn, and I'm a Board Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner serving clients in California. I specialize depression, anxiety, ADHD, relationship issues, Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), trauma, sleep disorders, stress management, women’s issues, loss, grief, and bereavement, life coaching, life transitions, insomnia & sleep issues, chronic illness, and binge eating disorder. I’ve been in nursing for over 7 years and completed my master’s and psychiatric training at Herzing University. I chose to be a psych NP because I cannot imagine doing anything else in my life except for helping those who are finding their way and their voice. I always wanted a career in nursing and in healthcare due to my desire and passion of wanting to help those who need it the most. My practice is inclusive and welcoming, embracing diversity in culture, background, and experience. I have worked with a wide range of clients, including students, parents, professionals from various fields, …skilled tradespeople, service industry workers, retail employees, entrepreneurs, artists, and technology experts. I am committed to providing a safe and supportive space where each individual feels heard, understood, and empowered to achieve their therapeutic goals. Starting treatment can be a scary and intimidating process. I’ve successfully treated many people who are new to psychiatric care.
