Dr. Dawn Welch

Dawn Welch is a licensed clinical social worker. Since beginning to treat patients in 2000, Dawn has aimed to support clients through the healing and recovery process so they can live more fulfilling lives. She accomplishes this by using evidence-based practices and good listening skills. Dawn incorporates solution-focused, motivational interviewing, trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy, person-centered, family systems, and integrative therapy techniques into her practice.

She specializes in treating anxiety, depression, behavioral concerns, and adjustment disorder, but also has experience with a breadth of other conditions as well. Outside of work, Dawn enjoys cooking, gardening, shopping, and visiting national parks. She has 3 pet miniature Schnauzers! Dawn enjoys working with SohoMD because of the friendly and supportive staff.
