Dr De Tan, MD

My son needed surgery and his surgeon was giving us trouble getting the surgery scheduled, constantly putting up new obstacles. Half frustrated and half panicked, I called Dr. Tan for backup, a doctor we had met once. His staff squeezed us in for an appointment the same day. In a few minutes, he understood my concerns and gave us all of the documentation we needed to provide to the surgeon. He even called the surgeon personally to address the issue. Dr. Tan is knowledgeable, compassionate, and down to earth. He listened carefully and resolved a seemingly impossible situation in a few minutes. I cannot say enough about Dr. Tan and his accommodating staff. He is the best doctor we know and a lovely person too.

Last month I had an emergence operation which resulted in a bile leak in my Gal blatter area. I am so grateful that on the day I needed a bile duct specialist Dr Tan was working at Enloe hospital in Chico Cal. He analyzed my situation, presented the solution and conducted a perfect procedure on me which was part of the team that saved my life. There is no question that he is a standout physician and accomplished surgeon. God bless Dr Tan and his education and life path that brought him to Chico.
