Dr. Deacon Wayne Staggs

I have seen Dr. Staggs twice, once in his Midlothian office, and once in his Waxahachie office. Both times the wait was minimal to none, and the staff were courteous and efficient. I found Dr. Staggs to be very thorough in explaining my diagnosis and discussing my options. I especially appreciated his honesty the first time I consulted with him when he advised against my receiving the test I had been scheduled for at that time and waiting several months to see if it was actually needed. Since the test was an expensive one I was glad to not have to pay for it unnecessarily.Ultimately my second visit was to undergo the original test, and he performed it very well. He explained everything step by step and was particularly conscientious of my comfort throughout. I appreciated both his professionalism and bedside manner, and I felt that he took as much time with me as I needed to explain the test results and my options until I understood them. I would unhesitatingly recommend Dr.… Staggs to anyone in need of a physiatrist. Waxahachie is lucky to have a doctor like him so easily accessible.

I was referred to Dr Staggs for sciatica. He gave me a thorough evaluation, ordered an MRI & gave me a referral for a steroid injection. When the other Dr didn't follow up, I was "fit in" for an appointment & was seen the next day. NO wait time!His office staff are extremely helpful, friendly & caring.
