Dr. Dean Barry Adelman, DO

Unprofessional,,,,,Waste of MY time and money!

Dr. Adelman takes his time, doesnâ??t make me feel rushed and has an easy going personality. He explains things in clear language, provides options and calmly discusses pros and cons of different approaches. I have confidence in him. Dr. Adelman has been my doctor for a few years and Iâ??ve never regretted following his advice.

My first appt. with Dr. Adelman. He was very friendly & courteous. I am in the medical field so I have some medical knowledge. One thing that stood out is how he took my vital signs so quickly , I am not sure how he could get a good reading esp w/ the stethoscope on my chest & back. I felt like he was brushing the surface w/ my visit. I will definitely go back to Dr.Jordan (he was more thorough). I want to put in a comment about my nurse that day ( a young black girl)...cant recall her name...she was VERY nice. I felt like she was a good nurse.

I had to wait in the room for about 20 minutes

Too fast of a examination. only one breathing taken.

I asked for another physician multiple times.

Dr. Adelman proceeded to examine my husband's prostate gland two years after he had his prostate removed due to prostate cancer. Dr. Adelman was the Dr. who recommended my husband follow up with a Urologist. He was informed on prior visists a prosectomy was performed and information was in my husbands chart. If he had just reviewed his chart before his annual exam. My daughter was having recurring bladder infections. Her urine sample was "suppose" to be cultured for additional testing. The urine sample sat in the refridgerator and was disposed. A call was never made for her to come back and retest. After 5 messages with office requesting results, office finally informed us what happenned. We have found a new family doctor.

I am a 55 y.o. male with several medical issues and I have found Dr. Adelman to be very professional in my treatment options and a joy to work with. I disagree strongly with some of the negative posts. I personally have not expirienced any of the problems listed in the four years i have been seeing Dr. Adelman

In many cases talks down to patients. No doubting he cares just talks down to patients as id they were kids.
