Dr. Dean Benzia, MD

Dr. Benzia is very professional and thorough. He's honest and he's in the medical field to help and offer preventive care. He lets you know what can happen down the road if you don't take proper measures to care for yourself.

This doctor lacks intelligence, professionalism, and communication skills. He expects patients to follow his every word of advice without question. Thankfully I was not intimidated by him and sought a second opinion. He missed a cancer diagnosis. I found out later I was not the only one that shared this opinion about him. There are others that were misdiagnosed or pushed to get unnecessary testing done.

Be aware, this "doctor" overbills your insurance purposely. Every time I have gone, he increases the billing code and I had to correct with the insurance company. Moreover, his diagnoses were just plain wrong when I checked with specialists. He also overbooks people such that if you have an 11:30a appt, be willing to wait until 12:30p. Go somewhere else--it will be worth your time and money!
