Dr. Dean Adam Berman, DO

It's the worst Doctor I mean. Basically, he came in and touched my eyelid and I backed up. And he was like we'll get some test taken. And I never saw him again. I was in the emergency room at Baywood. And he has all my paperwork, like he did a bunch of stuff. It's all wrong. It's all from 7 years ago. I wasn't even asked what medication I was on and nothing was done terrible scary even

Doesn't know what a concussion is

I had the most awful experience with him. He should not be a doctor. He is very rude and short with patients.

Terrible, arrogant bedside manner. Tried to get me to commit to an extensive round of in-hospital testing over a 3 day stay. Turned out on second opinion to be completely ridiculous. This guy care more about stacking up his admissions for the hospital than he does your health. Beware of his advice.

I sought out a visit with Dr. Berman after I noticed a cyst of mine was leaking and red. Thought I might have an infection so I went it right away. Dr. Berman spent no time looking at it but wrote me a rx for an antibiotic. I explained that I was breastfeeding my 5 month old and so I needed something safe for my infant. He assured me that the medication was safe. Fast forward to picking up the rx and I ask the pharmacist to confirm it was safe and he assured me that it was NOT safe for my infant. I proceeded to take the medication and supplement with my child but my infection continued to get worst. At this point I am having to have surgrey, and I have a massive whole in my chest where the cyst has gotten worst, exploded and left me with the consequences. After speaking with several doctors since I have come to the conclusion that if he would have spent a few more moments with me and drained my cyst, we could have avoided all of this. If I could give him zero stars I would.

Dr. Berman is a doctor who specializes in Emergency Room diagnosis and treatments. He's a wonderful doctor who explains what is going on and what he is doing very articulately and eases patient anxiety quite well. He treated me immediately, asked the right questions, and got the job done without any entanglements. I recommend this doctor to anyone going to a St. Clare's Emergency Room!
