Dr. Dean Garcia

Dr. Garcia used to be a great dentist. I cannot say the same after my last experience with him and his staff at Saddleback Dentistry. When he examined me, he was able to find some cavities but absolutely missed the fact that I was in the beginning stages of gum disease and needed a deep cleaning to prevent it from advancing. I found all this out after seeing a different dentist about a year later. He plays good cop, bad cop with you. He tells you that there is no rush to get the treatment that potentially costs thousands of dollars but then he sends in his treatment coordinator, Claudia, who proceeded to tell me that if I didn't get the treatment today, my teeth might fall out. This is laughable. No cavity would cause someone's tooth to fall out. In addition, my current dentist notified me that the fillings that were put in by Dr. Garcia were leaking because they are made from cheaper materials. At first I was enthused that Dr. Garcia charged a lot less than other dentists to put in… fillings, but now I know why. It wasn't worth it in the long run and since then I've had to replace two of the fillings. Something that also upset me is that when he's in the middle of your treatments, he and the other dentists leave the room to go perform treatments on other patients. You not having his undivided attention is unprofessional and lowers the quality of care. I am never going back to Dr. Garcia
