Dr. Dean Jeffrey Gmoser, MD

My newborn son was having 16-20 bowel movements a day- watery/runny and with a horrible diaper rash. I ask how what we can do and he says it’s normal via MyChart and shuts down any ability to make responses. No other explanations. It’s def not normal!! 2 weeks later I call a lactation consultant because my son is miserable. I contact Dr Gmoser 2x more and after arguing w the nurse they finally let me have an appointment. Turns out he has a cow milk allergy and I had to argue w him also about the fact that my son had a yeast diaper rash. We put him on formula and he is finally doing better. Secondly he would touch his dirty poopoo butt and then do an eye exam. Not wash his hands or out on gloves. I asked him if he washed his hands once and he said he did it outside. I think he lied. He also didn’t wash his hands after touching my sons poopoo butt and then he touches the computer. He is gross, y’all.

Sarah your staff is very rude and unprofessional. Called twice yesterday to get information about new patient, couldnt reach her and left a message,only for her to call back today no Apologies ,to tell me walk in patients is allow that I have to call to schedule an appointment and wait for my turn for her to call back and confirm the appointment b4 I can meet s doctor. That if am not okay with their process, I should look elsewhere. I said thank you and end the call. I have decided to go to another clinic with exceptional service. Thanks

Important review regarding food allergies: My son has been a patient of Dr. Dean J. Gmoser at Texas Childrenâ??s Pediatrics in Missouri City since birth. At nine months old blood test taken for food allergies due to his severe eczema. Tested positive with high severity for eggs and peanuts and low severity for two others. Heâ??d grown out of the low severity, so at his 3 year old checkup we asked about having another blood test but Dr. Dean didn't think it's necessary because my son had not given any indication of a sever reaction. His recommendation was to introduce small amounts of eggs first. This resulted in a trip to the ER and overnight stay in the hospital. We know the blood test is not 100% accuracy, but knowing my sons allergy history the Dr. should have been more cautious and or reviewed his case in better detail before making the suggestion. Based on our experience, question everything your Dr. tells you regarding your children with allergies, especially Dr. Dean J.… Gmoser.

My children have been using Dr. Gmoser since my 1st son was born 19 yrs. ago. I would never use any other pediatrician.
