Dr. Dean Lloyd Mattox II, MD

Mattox is a monster. He calls the nurses his girls. Powertripper. I record all medical due to severe head trauma. He asked me why i was there? What insurance? Why wasnt i working? I took my complaint to his superiors and they alerted him who. His referrals for a broken jaw was a pain specialist who does below neck and an ent. No help what so ever.

Dr. Mattox has always taken the time to an ask questions and how I have since the last time I saw him. I feel he is thorough in his examines. His staff is congenial and always say hi and ask how I am doing. I highly recommend him and encourage all who see him to follow his orders and recommendations.

excellent Dr. in every category, friendly, listens attentatively, good with follow up visits, really cares for each and every patient or client.

After retiring from teaching and no longer using the school's insurance, we needed to find a new doctor. I am very pleased with Dr. Mattox and his office staff. They are always very helpful, and I have never have to wait. He was very thorough and listened to any concerns I had. What a great transition this has been for us!

All I have to say is if you have cancer on your face and it's very very painful and you use Dr Mattox as a doctor he won't give you no meds he won't even give you anything he says go to the store and buy some Tylenol what you've been using this whole time and you have a huge hole in the side of your face that is definitely painful you ask for some pain meds and then they treat you like carp.

I have no problem with Dr. Mattox. He seems just fine to me. I don't care for the phone nurse I spoke with concerning my prescription and getting it switched to another drug store. She seemed not to know much about the procedure and seemed not to care. I would have been just fine to hear "I'm not sure when they will notify you. You may want to call them". Instead, she just seemed not to care.

I feel that he is only in it for the money. As a parent he always put me down. He would only be rude to me when the nurses were not in the room. I am not sure how he would be with older patients, but with my kids he wasn't great. I would not recommend him to any other parent, as a doctor for there children. I have found a better doctor for my kids.

I've been a patient for three years after meeting him at the gym. Years before I had signs of colon cancer that doctors blew off because I was healthy and 40. As my health got worse one sign I mentioned he ordered a CT scan. I had a 24 cm tumor in my colon. With no insurance I didn't know what to do. He helped me find a doctor do it at a low cost. Dr. Mattox saved my life. Next week he will do my scope to check for new tumors. I trust him with my life. His staff is top notch too!

OFI is on follow up. All else was excellent.
