Dr. Dean Palanca Ouano, MD

First time going to him. He does NOT like to answer any questions. He was very unprofessional and dismissive. He did NOT want to inform you of anything and if you had a question his response was "I am not having that discussion" Seems like a miserable person and has no compassion or empathy for a patient that is interested in understanding what is going on with their health. He tells you to "google it" I will not go back to this particular Dr. I like the practice but he is NOT a people person. I am the patient and I have a right to ask questions. Bad experience. Not nice!

I wish that I had read a review of Dr. Ouano before becoming his patient. He does lack empathy, is intolerant if there are questions about treatment and will take offense at everything. He turns the truth around to blame the patient and will definitely throw you out of his office. I am very sorry that I trusted him. All that and my eye seems worse after surgery. Just go elsewhere!!!!!

We found Dr Ouano to be very knowledgeable, responsive and compassionate . He worked in tandem with another great specialist to successfully repair a compound injury in my husband's eye. We're very thankful for him!

Dr. Ouano performed lasik surgery on my eyes in 2009. I am writing this in 2019 to say, my vision is great without complications. He is a very skilled doctor. Thank you Dr. Ouano!

Dr Ouano's bedside manner was horrific. He lacks empathy for his patients and appears to generally loathe children. I was shocked by the way he treated my family and horrified by the manner in which he delivers bad news to parents. Patients with children should seek another doctor, as this one may actually throw you out of his office. In my case he did! My experience with him was traumatic.
