I felt very at ease in Dr. Shoeners care the whole time from my first office visit, through surgery until my post op surgery visit. Not only with Dr Shoener but his whole team! The professionalism was top notch !

My husband had surgery today, in fact. Dr Shoener spent time talking with my husband in the office prior to today as did his PA, Ms Reimenschneider. Dr Schoener spoke with me after surgery and gave me all the instructions I needed. Very responsive office and staff.

I could't have asked for a better surgeon, since my fiasco experience at dreyer advocate. very compassionate and professional. he and his team saved my life.

I greatly enjoyed my overall experience with Dr. Shoener and his staff. He was very personable, answered all of my questions, and followed up with me as he said he would. I wouldn't think twice about recommending friends or family as needed.

Our son had emergency surgery and the procedure was done well. Dr. Shoener was great, made us feel important and answered all our questions. Unfortunately their billing department was unfriendly and certainly not sympathetic to our situation. We paid our bill in full over time yet no one expects emergency surgery to happen and the financial burden can be great. This type of customer service is troubling and will prevent us from ever using Surgery Group SC again.

I had never had a mammogram. I found a lump in my left breast, I had never dreamed of ever having a lumpectomy, chemo and radiation. I have to tell you that Dr. Shoener is excellent! From the first time he saw my mammogram he was completely honest. He did not beat around the bush he gave me the diagnosis the first day he saw me. Not to scare me but to let me know what my husband and I should expect. It was not the easiest news to give someone before the holidays. But Dr. Shoeners bedside manners and calm quite and collective manners were heartbreaking but accepted by my husband and I. I cannot begin to tell you, from the lumpectomy to referring me to other Dr.s he has been a gem. He is very informative, answers any questions, and does not shrug you off. And most importantly, is HONEST and gives you his opinion based on experience! I wish I could continue the rest of my treatment with him. He is the best in my opinion!!!
