Dear beloved Dean/Dr. Winslow, I would like to express my sincere gratitude and appreciation to you for what you have done when you realized I was infected with a very serious Cocci Meningitis. You placed my recovery above all else. Your commitment to my well-being is bar none. Your caring and concerns really touches me and goes beyond words. If you ask anyone around VA Palo Alto Hospital and Stanford University School of Medicine about the quality of patient care and services you will hear that patients express their confidence and respect about their physician. Dr. Dean L. Winslow represents such physician for me. I am one of his patients who has total confidence and trust in him. As an Infectious Diseases Doctor, he places the interest and well-being of patients such as mine to the highest possible level. He pursues all possible avenue to get patients treated from their illness. For example, my Cocci Meningitis represents one of his most difficult Infectious… Diseases cases that he has to deal with. I appreciate his going above and beyond as a senior medical specialist for arranging tests and MRI/MRA and handling other procedures with seamless effort. daughter contracted cdiff after a questionably necessary/harmful surgery then this guy and the team threw her out with a HR 150 and temp of 102 . He also wrote a nursing order in medical record to just crush drugs in ng tube if patient refuses them?!? these forced drugs had immediate horrific adverse reactions and patient forced to continue them. Then I found an essay he wrote on how great he is to Iraqi insurgents? I believe in the Geneva convention but why the disparity in compassion? READ YOUR MEDICAL RECORDS!!!
