Dr. Deann Elizabeth Dewitt, MD

Dr Dewitt has been an amazing doctor to my son since he was born. She is extremely thorough and takes her time to explain everything in detail. She puts us at ease each time we see her feeling confident we are leaving with the proper knowledge and tools to get him well. We LOVE HER and wouldn't trust anyone else for our son!

She spent a lot of time explaining my daughters results to me which I found very helpful as the specialists hadn't really told me what they meant. I appreciate her ability to translate the information to a form we could all understand. I will be coming here for a long time.

I took my daughter to Dr. Dewitt because I needed a doctor closer to my home. My daughter had a cough and was breathing faster than normal and Dr. Dewitt said these were asthma related symptoms and to send her home. I called several times to get the dr's opinion on my daughters fast breathing and she would not take my call, but told the nurse to tell me to continue using an inhaler. I took my daughter to her old doctor who immediately made time for my daughter and told me that she thought my daughter may have pneumonia and ordered x-rays; it turned out that she had a moderate to severe case of pneumonia which required a 4 day stay in the hospital. I thank God that I took my daughter to another doctor actually cared about my child's health.
