I strongly recommend avoiding this psychologist. I experienced serious ethics and professionalism concerns, including repeated last-minute cancellations, poor planning, and confusion around licensure and jurisdiction. These issues were addressed only after services were already underway, despite relevant information and trauma history being disclosed in advance. The provider proceeded in ways that predictably caused harm, then treated my triggered reactions as evidence of serious pathology rather than acknowledging them as responses to the provider’s own actions and lack of repair. I also experienced concerning power and control dynamics around records and accountability. I requested access to my medical records for continuity of care, and encountered multiple rounds of denial of access, withholding of materials, shifting explanations, and misrepresentation of relevant laws and ethical codes. I have additional concerns about record integrity and transparency following termination, as… well as concerns about potential fraud, waste, or abuse in billing that occurred after termination. The evaluation itself was not clinically usable for what I needed. It failed to address most referral questions, omitted key components of the test battery without explanation, lacked standard data reporting to support interpretations, and relied heavily on subjective impressions while making far-reaching diagnostic claims. I also experienced repeated misunderstandings and distortions of my statements that were never clarified, leaving me feeling culturally pathologized and racially biased. I paid a substantial amount of money and left with nothing but harm. Instead of clarity or support, I experienced retraumatization and deep distress that took months to recover from. I am writing this because I genuinely hope that anyone who comes across this review can avoid going through the same experience.
