Dr. Deanna Risos

What makes Dr. Risos unique is the way she thinks of patients. She treats
you as she likes to be treated herself! She’ll check your blood
pressure and your medical history at every appointment, and review the
medications you’re getting from every doctor you’re seeing.
Dr. Risos wants to grow her practice the right way—not by using
high-pressure tactics or by seeing patients in high volume. She is dedicated
to providing the kind of quality care that patients want and need.
About Dr. Risos
Since graduating from dental school, Dr. Risos has devoted her life
to learning the skills necessary to become an expert in cosmetic and
restorative dentistry. She has completed the Cosmetic/Aesthetic continuum
of courses at UCLA School of Dentistry as well as courses in implants,
and occlusal equilibrium, and cosmetic digital imaging.
In addition, Dr. Risos trained in endodontics with Dr. L. Stephen Buchanan,
one of the leaders and innovators in this field of dentistry.
She is a member of the …American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry,
the Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation, the American
Dental Association, the California Dental Association and the
San Diego Dental Society. Dr. Risos also travels with the staff
to conventions and seminars to get more training to help keep
her practice up to date on technology and procedures.
About Our Team Members
Elizabeth is one of our two dental assistants.  She
prepares treatment rooms, sterilizes instruments, helps the doctor on
various procedures and orders supplies.  She has been licensed for
x-rays and for coronal polishing.  Elizabeth’s hobbies and
interests include watching movies, reading, camping and spending time
with family and friends.
In addition to her chairside duties as an assistant, Rosa
is also an expert in digital imaging. She is in charge of our computer
graphics capabilities including our digital smile makeover system. She
graduated with a degree in dental assisting in 1997, and has enhanced
her knowledge by graduating in computer graphics and digital imaging in
2004. She regularly attends American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry
conferences and her local California Dental Association meetings. When
she is not in the office, Rosa enjoys oil painting and digital art.
Janae manages our office, handling everything from
scheduling appointments for our patients to billing, bookkeeping, and
answering questions. For nine years prior to joining our practice, Janae
worked as a consultant and manager for many dental practices. She is
associated with the California Dental Association, American Academy of
Cosmetic Dentistry, and International Congress of Oral Implantologists.
Away from office work, Janae enjoys fishing, reading, and bike riding.
