Dr. Debbie Redmond Hyder, DO

My child saw Dr. Hyder from birth. Age 4 she began drinking excessively and complained during urination. Brought a urine sample that was promptly lost. Brought child in again and labs showed liver levels extremely high and the doctor blamed it on diet and didn't look further. Later another incident with painful urination and home litmus showed white blood cells elevated. The doctor said it was fine. Child began showing signs of regression asked for dna testing for autism like disorders. Dr. Hyder said it was against the child's privacy rights. So we went thru school testing and she was delayed. At 5 she had a massive seizure and has sulfatides thru the roof in urine and blood. Dr. Hyder made me feel like a hypochondriac and dismissed all worries when there were several opportunities to diagnose my child. My child had a genetic condition that could have been less detrimental if caught early. Her sick visits are only available over the phone and she won't dive deep into repeated… concerns.

Dr. Hyder does not show concern for her patients nor keeps up to date on her medical knowledge. She always disregarded my questions as a first time mom. She knew nothing about breastfeeding and was unable to help me with my toddler son's 5 food allergies. She missed diagnosing his dairy allergy, in infancy, as simply reflux and eczema. She only provided medication for the symptoms rather than investigating further to determine the source. I would never recommend her as a pediatrician.

This doctor's office never returns phone calls.

My daughter has been with Dr. Hyder's office since she was 5 days old. My daughter is now 17 years old . We will not be leaving until we get kicked out. My other 3 girls have been with her as well. You cant ask for a better doctor and staff. Love this place

She has been our doctor for over 16 years, We're not leaving until she kicks us out!

My kids loved going there and I liked the Dr and her staff

My grandson has being going to Dr. Hyder for years. She is a wonderful doctor but getting the staff to return calls needs some work. I have called them this morning about a referral for him to go to TOC for a afternoon appt. They have not called me or sent the referral. The last time he was sick I called them 3 times and had to leave message. Told them he was sick and needed to see Dr. The called back at 3:30pm I told them I had him in the ER so forget it. Looks I will be going to ER with him again today if I do not hear anything within the hour.

My kid had blood work over a week ago and I have still not heard from the doctor at all and I have call two are three times a day and left my name and number .. And every time you call you don't get to talk to anyone you have to wait for them to call you back ..

Both of my children have been patients of Dr hyder since birth and I have never felt better about my deci with sion to make her my kids Dr she is always sweet kind and caring and very understanding of me and my over protective ways whenever there is a problem I can always count on Dr hyder to be there I am 10000000000 percent satisfied
