Dr. Debbierey Pellon Bongar, MD

I love Dr Bongar. I really felt like she cared. She sat and talked to me. Explained things well and didn't act like she was in a hurry to get to the next patient. I want to know where she going after leaving Kadlec. It took me years to find someone who took the time to care about me.

I have gone to see Doctor Bongar several times and she is no question the best.She is very concerned about your needs and requests the correct tests to insure a good diagnosis. I am very happy with Doctor Bongar as my doctor and I will only see her in the future.

First I'd like to start off by saying, I do agree with the snotty nurse comments. My wife absolutely can't stand one of the nurses in particular. Luckily, she was nowhere to be seen during my last visit (maybe they canned her?).Regardless, I found Dr. Bongar to be very caring, understanding, and I felt as if she genuinely cared about my health. She was more than willing to order tests and attempt to diagnose my issues. She came off as very knowledgeable and professional. Not sure what all the whining is about with the other reviewers.

I share the same experience as the other reviewers. I had to change doctors because my insurance changed. My insurance said my old doctor did unnecessary tests and they would no longer cover him. I see why my insurance company loves Dr. Bongar. You literally have to beg to get any test or treatment. Thankfully my sitation resolved itself over a couple of pain filled weeks. There was never any follow up. I can imagine the people who are at risk with this treatment style. I know how difficult it must be to practice medicine in today's environment, but not having an agressive approach can put people's lives in danger.

I have never been spoken to by a Dr. like she has spoken to me. Rude, obnoxious and like a 2 year old. She talks down to you and at you. She doesn't care about her patients and misdiagnoses everything. If I was running Kadlec, I'd would seriously be embarrassed to have her as a Dr. in my clinic and give her the boot. The only thing she is good for is throwing her to the lions. It's pretty bad when 2 other Dr.'s have said the same thing that work for Kadlec about her. So, pretty much in a nut shell...she is worthless to be kind.

I agree with the previous statement. Dr Bongar has no communication skills. We pulled our own medical records and found where she has lied numerous times. Often, she has an attitude and fails to explain what the next step would be, then when we call, she accuses us of not following through! I find her manner to be rude and unprofessional.

Dr. Bongar seems nice at first, if you're not fuming by the time her snotty nurse has spoken with you. However, she is lazy, ineffective, and downright negligent! I honestly don't know how this woman graduated medical school. I had several tests (MRI,Ultrasound, ect) a couple years ago that recommended further testing to diagnose-these tests were abnormal and she refused to order additional testing, even though I've been horribly ill for a while now-She won't even treat my symptoms. The bottom line is this--If you are truly sick or need medical care to treat your disease or condition, don't go to Dr. Bongar at Kadlec Clinic.
