Dr. Debora Duro, MD

Dr. Debora is knowledgeable and cares about her patients. I do agree that she could practice actively listening to the parent, exam the child with room door close, and not rush the appointment to allow parent to ask questions. I think this happens because she's the only one in the office and make rounds to see patients on the floor in the hospital. I had to ask the doctor to just listen for a moment. When I did that, I was able to understand and receive what she was saying without a problem. I believe parents should take the responsibility to slow the doctor down when they feel appointment is being rushed especially when they are paying out of pocket and adjusted their schedules to attend the appointment with their child.

I will start with the positive. Her office staff is great. Only to lead you up to great disappointment with Dr Duro. She is rude and arrogant. She didn’t listen and walked in the room in a rush. She did not let me speak. She didn’t ask my son any questions. She really didn’t care about what was going on with my son. She examined my son with the exam room door open. The absolute worst Dr visit I ever experienced.

Dr. Duro is such a breath of fresh air! She takes the time to listen, understand, and explain. I highly recommend her!!
