Dr. Deborah R Alpert, MD

After checking out the reviews of this MD I decided this is who I wanted to see for my joint pain. My first call to the office told me that she was booked for 6 MONTHS and that I had to call back in a few months as they did not have her schedule created for the following year!?? SO, I call back, turns out I had to cancel my appointment as I was sick. Guess what, I had to wait ANOTHER 6 MONTHS to see her. OK, not urgent she had really good reviews and you want to go to the best. Well what a wast of time!!!!! When I finally saw her she spent about 15 minutes with me which was fine...gave me pills for the pain and told me she w/call me with my blood results or mail them to me if they were fine. Well WEEKS go by - no call - no mail and the medication is not working. I call the office I leave a message asking about my blood work and explained the medication isn't working - no call - no mail. It was only when I complained about my bill being a whopping $310.00 that I called and spoke… with the office manager. I told her I felt the $50.00 I paid along with the $45.72 that my insurance paid should have more than covered her time and "expertise". It was ONLY THEN that I finally received my blood work- but again, the fact that my medication did not work was never addressed. I would NEVER recommend her and I would NEVER go to her again. I think the reason you have to wait so long for an appointment is that she is a part time physician not that she is so good and so busy. Don't bother to wait 6 months...run to another MD. By the way, I am STILL getting a bill!!

Going to her for osteoporosis/ I value her recommendations - very patient and listens to your comments.

Dr Alpert Is a very nice and excellent doctor .. she is very thorough she is excellent and knows exactly what she is doing. She does what she has to do recommend her very highly ..

I have been seeing Dr. Alpert for at lest 6 years now. Very very knowledgeable and caring. I would recommend her for any of my family. She is sometimes difficult to get an appointment with.

She attended my son when he wound up in the hospiral with a mystery disease that was leaving him crippled and in sever pain. She assembled a team of doctors to investigate what was going on and got to the root of the problem. It was like an episode of HOUSE, only with a sane, empathetic doctor. Great doctor, knowledgable and brilliant!
