Dr. Deborah Saudek Collier, MD

I really appreciate my good fortune that I ended up being treated by Dr Collier due to a cancellation of my appointment with another doctor, who my primary physician referred me to. Dr Collier is thorough, patient, and informative. She's a professional who communicates well, answers questions, and is a genuinely pleasant person to deal with. I look forward to continuing specialized treatment by Dr. Collier.

Before my first visit with her at her office, I had a virtual visit where she stated she wanted to me to have blood work done, and when I came into her office the following week, she would do an MRI on me. Following week, I waited an hour in an examination room for her to come in. When she did, she was all flustered, in a hurry, did not examine me, and did not do an MRI. I have arthritis throughout my body, as well as osteoporosis. She brushed over the results of the blood work, but did not explain anything about why I had this done. She did not examine me other than having me sit and stand. That's all. Quickly, she told me she was referring me to a spine specialist.....one that I had already been seeing. She did not mention the doctor's name, just the place where I had to go. When I looked at my patient gateway account the next day, I saw it was the doctor I had already been seeing. Clearly, she didn't bother to even look at my profile account. She left in a hurry, as though I was… keeping her from seeing her next patient. I waited an hour. She spent 10 minutes with me....doing nothing.

I don’t recognize the Doctor in the poor reviews. Dr. Collier has listened and been an advocate for me when I was being neglected to the point of being immobile by another doctor. My conditions are genetic and lifelong. She has been my lifeline.

I went to Dr Collier 3 times. The first appointment I waited for 45 minutes. She was in the office and I was the first patient. She just deliberately made me wait. Very rude. She told me she will"cure"me. Though I have RA. Second visit another hour wait. She offered no real help. I was in so much pain. At this point i knew I should find another doctor. I went back for 1 more visit, using valuable sick time from work. I had a 1:30 appointment. She saw me at 4pm, still claiming she was going to cure me. I left so angry and disillusioned. I never went back to her. I know see a Dr at B&W.

I have been a patient of Dr. Debbie Collier since 2007 and she has been very pantient, take time to listen to my complaints and she usually solves the problem or sends me to some who can. She spends time with me and listens to my questions. The only complaints is that it she usually has a waiting time of 30 minutes but this is because she is over booked with patiences and she usually takes time with everey patients but some patients take longer than others because of the situations they have. Mrs. Collier is one of the best Doctors in her field by her knowledge, care, and bedside manner. I am sure she has bad days like everyone else does and those two reviews that gave her a one star were bogus and if they would have came back for a second time they probably would have had a better opion.

It was my first appointment, (probably last). Doctor Deborah Collier was late 35 minutes, she didn't take time to listen to me, she dismissed my complaints about the pain I have been experiencing for a months, telling me that can't be anything serious. She got up in the middle of my sentence, saying it was nice to meet me and walked out . That was very rude, I could not believe that she just walked out like that.

I had seen Dr. Collier for an 'Emergency' visit in the MGH Rheumatology group. She was diligent, patient and thoughful. Further, she listened to my problem (as well as my history) and responded in a very practical manner.

She barely spent anytime with me less than ten minutes it was my first appointment I waited over 45 minutes to see her. She dismissed my comments and pain she just said it looks like a virus come back if it gets worse she said "you shouldn't need pain medication you will have a hard time getting a prescription" I was so upset I have been in pain for over 2 months I have been waiting for this appointment for over a month I have had several visits to my PCP and the ER for pain and even a corneal abrasion all this and she says it you get any more swelling then come back.
