Dr. Deborah L Dehaan, DDS

Dr. Deborah DeHaan is a licensed specialist in the field of orthodontics: she studied the specialty of orthodontics full time to obtain a Masters Degree beyond her Doctorate of Dental Surgery, both earned at the University of Michigan in the mid 1980’s.   Dr. DeHaan has maintained her level of education through continuing education and has gained experience through more than 20 years in private practice treating children, adolescents, and adults for orthodontic, orthopedic, and surgical problems of the teeth and jaws.
The Passion
Dr. DeHaan is well suited to the specialty of
orthodontics because it combines several of her
special interests, skills, and talents: art, science,
and the welfare of people. She sees each patient
as an individual challenge. Coming from a family
of artists and engineers the combination is the
perfect mix for someone who enjoys problem
solving, artistry, and a connection with people.
The Experience
Dr. DeHaan opened her private practice in Lake
Orion, after …gaining years of experience working
with other orthodontists while her children were
young. Her practice has been located at the
corner of Baldwin and Waldon at the “Shops on
Waldon Pond” since 1994, where she has a
reputation for providing excellent treatment in a
warm and caring environment. Many of our
patients are referred from existing or previous
patients, the highest level of a compliment.
