Dr. Deborah Geismar, MD

Dr Geismar is very self centered, rude and not at all friendly. It's all about how much she can charge and not a good listener at all. Stay away from this doctor!!!!!!!!

Past few times, except the last, acted like I was bothering her and the staff when I had health concerns. Was irritated and really mad that I kept coming back for the same thing. I told her, " If I dont' feel good, what am I supposed to do?" even insisted I was anxiety ridden when I knew I wasn't. Staff is very condensending Even tried to bilk me out of 30.00 for copying and transferring my records to my NEW and BETTER doctor.

Excellent doctor and very hard to find, very thorough, straight to the point---very forthright honest and trustworthy, very caring and listening to needs, and very prompt. She's very knowlegeable and explains in a way that can be understood at a patient's level. She follows up referrals, results on procedures made outside of her office, and confers with respective doctors. She's been my husband and my doctor for more than 20 years. We were stationed in Italy and Guam for more than 4 years, and yet, we flew home to see her for medical procedures, physicals, and consultations (routine and non-routine)

Dr Geismar is amazing. She is knowledgeable and no-nonsense. She gets to the point and addresses the issues at hand. I have been seeing her for over 15 years, and while I have moved, I still drive over an hour just to see her. She's that good.

She is very good at what she does, but sometimes I feel like I'm getting the brush off. Yes< i ahve seen her a number of time for the same problem and to me, she seems frustrated when I see her for the same thing. Hey, if I don't feel good, what am I supposed to do? Yes, I do see a psych, and she keeps insisitng that all my frequent urination problems are due to anxiety. I don't think so, this time. I will call her for my need to have a pap smear done and a blood test. Keeps telling that pap smears do not have to be done every year. That is not what she told me last year.
