Dr. Deborah Harper Gillispie, MD

Dr. Deborah Gillispie is a family medicine physician with additional training in emergency medicine, bringing 35 years of medical experience to patient care. She earned her medical degree from the Joan C Edwards School of Medicine at Marshall University, where she developed expertise in both primary care and urgent medical situations. Dr. Gillispie speaks both Chinese and English, allowing her to serve a diverse patient population.

Dr. Gillispie practices at multiple locations including Cabell Huntington Hospital and Saint Mary's Medical Center in Huntington, as well as Lincoln Primary Care Center in Hamlin, West Virginia. She specializes in diabetes care, including management of type 2 diabetes and diabetes in older adults. Her clinical focus includes routine blood work such as complete blood counts and diabetes monitoring through A1c testing.
