I was told this was a good form of birth control until I realized so many women including myself was suffering from complications. When I went to discuss the complications, she didn’t have any idea of a lawsuit and said one of her patients coils came out when she went to the bathroom. I think this was careless because you should know tell your patients if possible side effects before recommending a procedure that can cause major problems from organ perforations to traveling inside your uterus. And there was no discussion on needing a hysterectomy as one of the most effective ways of removing it. But before she can really understand this serious issue, she has retired. Leaving her former patients to deal with this on their own. It’s not fair.

I have been using Dr. Hoffman for years and she delivered my 2nd son. She is always thorough, professional and shows that she cares.
