Dr. Deborah Anne Hughes, MD

Dr Hughes had been my gynecologist when I was 16 years old up until I went to college. Upon returning, I returned to her, only to be told "you clearly were never taught how to sit for this" (ironic) and "well I'm the one who went to medical school." Incredibly disappointed with my visit and actually left in tears over a regular pap. Will never be returning.

Absolutely HORRIBLE! A disgrace to the medical profession.

Dr. Deborah A. Hughes is a horrible doctor. She is rude and impatient and goes out of her way to make you feel like you are interrupting her "very important" life by taking up her time in the examination room. Dr. Hughes (she doesn't even deserve the title "Dr." because she is so awful), is also nasty and does not let you speak or take time to look you in the eye and/or answer a question. Most significantly, Dr. Hughes rushed to make a quick diagnosis that was not accurate and this patient had to spend more time and money to get an accurate assessment of her health. This was a very serious matter. This traumatic experience with Dr. Hughes left this patient seriously doubting Dr. Hughes credibility and ability. If you can do some more research, seek a different doctor.

She was very abrupt. No bedside manner at all. Wouldn't listen to what my concerns were. Discounted what I told her. I went in with hope and a good attitutde, but left feeling discouraged, overwhelmed and now looking for another doctor.

DID NOT TAKE ME (27 Y.O.) SERIOUSLY ABOUT MY CONCERNS AND HEALTH ISSUE. BLAMED ME FOR CAUSING MY ISSUE. RUDE STAFF, DEMANDED I PEE MORE BEFORE SEEING THE DOCTOR, SAYING IT WAS PROTOCOL. WAITED AN HOUR TO SEE DOCTOR FOR ABOUT 10 MINUTES AT MOST RECENT APPOINTMENT. MISDIAGNOSED AND SHE PRESCRIBES THE SAME MEDS YET AGAIN. HER ENTIRE OFFICE LACKS PROFESSIONALISM, AS DOES SHE. SHE DOESN'T CARE ABOUT HER PATIENTS, SHE ADMITTED SHE'S SUPERBUSY AND THAT'S ONLY BECAUSE I MENTIONED HOW MANY PEOPLE ARE OUT THERE WAITING. I WISH SHE'S LOSE HER LICENSE TO PRACTICE BECAUSE SHE DESERVES NO MONEY FOR HER LACK OF CONSIDERATION OF HER PATIENTS. STILL SEARCHING FOR A GOOD GYNO IN LAS VEGAS.

The office staff was horribly cold and rude. I couldn't believe it! Do they have a consistent clientele? Forget about the doctor, no time spent. Don't waste your time and energy here!

I waited almost an hour to see this doctor. She spent less than 5 minutes and didn't even give me the time I needed to ask questions. She also diagnosed me wrong the first time. When i asked her to take 30 seconds to look at my 3 yr old's knee just to make my little girl feel better she practically slammed the door as fast as she could while muffling "I don't do knees, and I don't do kids." I've never been to a doctor so uncaring.

Dr. Hughes seemed ok until my husband came with me. Being a first time mother, she almost ruined the experience. I will definitely choose a different doctor for my next child.

Dr. Hughes works quickly and gets to the point. She is smart and listened to me, but asked specific questions and expected specific answers. She fixed my problem when many other Dr.'s could not. I would definately recommend her to my friends and family.

I purposely selected Dr. Hughes based on her on-line biography. A terrible disappointment. She was rude, harried, and uninterested and did not do a thorough exam or get to know me or my concerns as a first time patient. I will not return and do not recommend her as a physician.
