Clinician was in a small town emergency room with no traffic. I was taken by ambulance ER for heart palps and indoneisan herb detox. However, a head injury came in, I expected I would get hurried out the door and i did, which happens. A group is as good as its leader which reflected the attitudes of those in the ER this day. From the beginning my details were not clarified by staff, vitals taken, then I was just left until the doc came in to assess. Positive, the doc did order blood work. Due to detoxing from a unregulated Indonesia herb I was scared about the heart Palps, skin condition, and head fog. Upon discussing the blood work results I was asking questions, wondering about other issues when she sharply interrupted, through her hands up, raised the tone of her voice laughingly with a grimace said “WHY R U MAKING UP DIAGNOSIS?” Well if she was listening, investigating, my chart which is all under the same system she might see why I was asking for validation. All she did was… PROFILE my case and BULLY me out the door. I have PTSD and that’s all she read, all she needed. Even if I was making up “diagnosis” what does that matter? I am private pay and had to pay for less than quality care. I cannot imagine how she treats non private patients. If this is who is on in the ER ask for another doc or go to another ER. Families deserve better.
