Dr. Deborah Leslie Kos, PhD

Abruptly discontinued treatment (after several years). I expressed a negative opinion of her after she insisted I'm not as sick as I said I am (I am totally bedridden due too a neurological disease, a fact my PCP is well aware of). At our next appointment, she told me she would no longer see me because I was so disrespectful. When I asked if that was going in my medical records, she said no--that she would write that my case had become too complicated for her. Absolutely unethical. Almost all her online reviews are negative due to her personality. I always enjoyed interacting with her--this is not a review of her personality. This is solely based on the ethics of retaliation by a medical provider who caused harm by abruptly discontinuing treatment. My husband, who witnessed the entire thing, agrees.

Please do not go here very unprofessional I was a new patient and am currently in school which she knows this so when I 1st saw her I told her I might be 10 to 15 min late to some of my appointment she was fine with it so today Augest 29th,2019 got to my appointment it was at 330 got there at 340 and she refused service to me and very unprofessional she's all get out of my office now she gave me my blood work results and told I can't tell u what is wrong you will have to go somewhere else you where late so am dropping you as a patient I was all can you please tell me what was on my blood work then she yelled and told me get out of my office now or you will be escorted out by the police am like wow ok so I left I just wanted to warn everyone DO NOT COME HERE you call the office and it goes to a voicemail they call u back 2 to 3 days later so strange

I have found Dr. Kos very helpful and interested in my son's well being. She is fairly prompt to respond to phone calls. However, Dr. Kos is set up to where she does not counsel people. Her primary purpose is medication management. As long as you understand that she will not ample time to visit you are in good hands. She is very knowledgeable.
