Dr. Deborah Suzanne Lasley, MD

Dr. Deborah Lasley was unprofessional. She criticized me for making my own informed decision. She does not respect patient choice.

She saved my son during childbirth. Hey had the cord wrapped around his neck and was white in color no crying or breathing. She was professional made sure I was focused and ultimately saved my son. I'm so grateful she was my doctor. i can't even express in words how grateful I am.

Im 35 weeks pregnant and last year i had a miscarriage. I was being seen by Dr. lasley and though i was heartbroken and not in the right state of mind i still think she was awesome. I opted for the tablets instead of a dnc. She brought me back in for a follow up ultrasound to be sure everything was ok after the miscarriage. As i said, i am now 35 weeks pregnant with my fourth child and she has been a great doc for me. I haven't had any issues with her and even when i have questions she answers them accurately and promptly. I havent had any problems that the previous posters have had.

ive seen dr lasley approx. 3 times since being pregnant. I had symptoms of a bacterial infection since November, yet I had to beg her to test me for it just now in January. it was positive. her nurse on call would tell me one thing... and then she would say another in the appointment. to her, this is just her job.. she doesn't understand that to us women, this is an important and sometimes worrisome time in our lives. she's not concerned with anything other then how fast she can get you out of her office. I also had some concern with bleeding, and all she could say without ANY tact is that , "your baby wont live outside of your body at this point. don't bother going to the ER.. there is nothing anyone can do for you." while that may be true, her tact and bedside manner are absolutely disgusting. you'd think with her being a mother and woman she would have some tact. Do not waste your time with this dr unless you're having the perfect pregnancy and won't bother her with your questions.

I have gone to Dr. Lasley for 13 years and she has always treated me with the upmost respect and care.

My first appointment with Dr. Lasley did not feel very welcoming. Being my first pregnancy, I didn't think to look for another doctor. She was very direct and blunt. Throughout my pregnancy I let her know of a concern I had with bleeding and she blew it off as normal. Later my amniotic sac ruptured. I called their office. The first time I reached an emergency line outside of business hours, they promised to call me back, which never happened. I called later in the morning, told everything to the office assistant who answered the phone, and suddenly I lost contact, tried calling again, and "their office was closed for lunch hours." To make a long story short, I had to be induced and lost the baby. I made sure to ask for a different doctor while I was in the hospital because Dr. Lasley had been so cold and uncaring through the entire process, even making me feel that having lost the baby was somehow my fault. It was later explained to me by two wonderful doctors at the hospital… that this was no fault of mine, but a rare and unfortunate incident that does happen in some pregnancies. So please, "shop around" for the right doctor, and listen to what your heart says when you meet with any new doctor.

I was dissatisfied with this clinic and especially this dr. Her bedside manner was appaling. I went in for my first, last and only visit when I was 8 weeks pregnant. I was terrified I was miscarrying from some symptoms I had and she confirmed this. However her tact was not there at all. Even when asking if she was sure of what she had seen before I signed the paperwork for the dnc her answer was "well I cant make the baby alive again." I was mortified. I wasnt asking her to play god. A simple "yes ma'am, I'm so sorry for your loss," would have been fine. There were several other rude things she said and did during this process but I will spare you the details.

She knows her stuff but shows annoyance when asked questions and seems hurried to move on to the next patient. She even has gone as far as saying "I have other patients" this is after only 15 minutes with her total. She does seem to be accurite and knowledgeable but just doesn't give the attention and care that a first time mother may need.
