I can't imagine that anyone was more scared of having cataract surgery than me. Of course I know that's not true because we're talking eyes! Had I not been referred to Dr.Deborah Lipson, I would have put off the surgery till I absolutely had no choice. Dr.Lipson's presence immediately put my mind at ease. She exudes confidence and precision. I was able to ask questions at any point throughout the process and she takes the time to make sure you are comfortable with the procedure and the new lens you will receive. Her office staff from the reception area to the assistants to the entire staff at The Eye Surgery Center were all comforting, supportive and meticulous. Every detail is covered and it is clear that this emanates from Dr. Lipson's personal approach to patient care. I am so grateful that I found her and that I did this procedure. I see a whole new world and it is thrilling!

I made the mistake of using another ophthalmologist, prior to going to Dr. Lipson, to remedy a chronic stye. Dr. Lipson helped me avoid eye surgery (that the other ophthalmologist recommended) and fixed my issue. I cannot recommend her enough, if you want an expert opinion, she is the best out there!

Both of my parents have been patients of Dr. Lipson's for many years now. At some point, Dr. Lipson told them they had cataracts, but since they were not very symptomatic, she never pushed them to undergo the surgery. Finally my father's vision deteriorated to the point where he felt uncomfortable driving, so he decided to go forward with the surgery. She explained the whole process to him in a thorough and understandable way. She was patient, extremely knowledgeable, used layman's terms, and answered every one of his questions. His surgery went extremely smoothly and he was so thrilled with the results, that he decided to have Dr. Lipson remove his second cataract. He is no longer uncomfortable driving, and does not have to wear glasses anymore. My mother also decided to have Dr. Lipson remove her cataracts, and her result was equally as excellent as his was. They are both extremely happy with her care. Dr. Lipson has a wonderful bedside manner, is an ethical doctor, and is… clearly a highly competent cataract surgeon. I could to recommend her more highly.

When they became more symptomatic and my father's vision deteriorated to a point where he was uncomfortable driving, they decided to go forward with the surgery. Dr. Lipson explained the whole process in a thorough and professional way. She was patient, extremely knowledgeable, used layman's terms, and answered every one of their questions. My dad went first. His surgery went so smoothly and he was so thrilled with the results on his first eye that he promptly had Dr. Lipson remove his second cataract, with similarly excellent results. Subsequently my mother also had both cataracts removed by Dr. Lipson, and she is also amazed with the results and her clear vision. Driving for them… at night is no longer a problem. Dr. Lipson is obviously a skilled cataract surgeon...I wholeheartedly recommend her.

This is a hole new experience for me. Dr Lipson is a highly skilled surgeon who did a wonderful surgery on me. Prior to surgery Dr, Lipson explained the procedure carefully and made me feel confident. I am delighted with the results.

I don't usually leave reviews of anything, but I am so happy with my surgical results that I am compelled to write one. I have been a patient of Dr Lipson's for some time now. She told me I had cataracts. She did not say I needed surgery immediately but I would know when I was ready. Sure enough a a year later, or so, I was having trouble with my vision. She took time to explain the whole process, from start to finish. My care through the whole process was superb. She was thorough, careful, professional and patient. Dr Lipson promptly returned my phone calls and answered all of my questions. I cannot recommend her highly enough. If you need cataract surgery you should seek her out. (she also took out my wife's cataracts with perfect results.)
