Dr. Deborah Lynn Mattingly, MD

She did not tell the truth about my condition from an exam. She never finished the exam and said it wouldn't change her opinion about me. I didn't know what to make of that. And then she spoke lies about me in a report that was used to try and deny my long-term disability. I had an IME from a doctor less than 3 month before Dr. Mattingly's and the Dr. was honest. I thought it was illegal for a doctor to lie. I would avoid this doctor at all cost!

My health status meant nothing to her. Her bed side manner is non existent. She put me down, used intimidation tactics, and exuded that she is far more superior than others. If somebody offered to pay me to see this “Doctor”, I would decline. If for some reason, I felt the need to be belittled and run over by a bus, she would be the one I went to see. This profession deserves much more respectable representation! What an insult to other physicians who haven’t lost sight of what patient care really means.

She is a terrible and unethical person and physician. Literally, her job is to get everyone off Workman's Compensation. She sold out to big business.

This doctor falsified medical Records and created false diagnoses to appease the insurance company on a WC claim that she was paid to be IME for. She is unethical, unprepared, rude, and lies to get paid.

Hired by insurance companies; she is more of an insurance agent than a doctor. Has you sign papers saying you will not have any doctor patient relationship. What patient chooses to go to a doctor that openly states they don't care about them and wants nothing to do with them after their 60-120 minute "exam?" Sends you a letter saying you CAN NOT bring someone to the appointment with you. This is not true and is against the law. YOU CAN! With my witness present she asked 3 times if I was seeking legal counsel, also asked confidential information concerning another client related to my work incident. She "respectfully" disagreed with four medical professionals. No one would choose to go to her. Patients are "assigned" or "directed" to go to her.

Terrible experience. She has no interest in the patient she is seeing, her only job is to deny insurance claims. Buyer beware... You will NOT have a good experience with her. She does "IME's".. Independent medical review. Which is a fancy term for being forced to see a Dr. the insurance company chooses, and most certainly has on their payroll. She does dirty work for money.

Worst experience with a Doctor ever! Her staff was very rude as well. DO NOT GO TO HER

Awful awful, she is a workman comp doctor and will do anything to say your wrong and lying.

she personally attacked me, 75% of the total conversation wasn't even involved with my insurance case, just personal statements made against me. I would not recommend her to anybody. If your insurance makes an appointment with her, immediately request a different doctor.

She is a horrible person who lies about her patients. I don't know she can sleep at night.
