Dr. Deborah A Mulford, MD

We have never waited longer than 10 minutes at an appointment. She enters room cheerful and welcoming. Very personable and pulls us up to computer to share test results and give explanations. She will take as much time as necessary for our visit. We feel very lucky.

You may have to wait, but she spends as much time with you as the other patient she just saw. Really takes her time with you and explains everything very well. Very patient and kind, but direct and clear. All of the staff at the cancer center are wonderful.

She is an excellent doctor and I strongly recommend her. I have talked to physicians who have patients under her care and they agree, "she's excellent."

Following the initial evaluation and bone marrow draw, I've been on holding steady with MDS-RCMD. So have only had follow ups; no active treatment. She Did a wonderful job on a friend. I found her very knowledgeable, personable, and willing and able to explain things.

I didn't feel like she was at all reassuring. She was not mean, just rather cold and clinical - not as empathetic as perhaps I would be looking for.

Dr. Mulford has this marvelous ability to make me feel that she has no other demands on her time other than my case. She knows who I am and addresses me by name. She is up on my case and is constantly looking for ways to get ahead of my teatment rather thsn wait until something goes wrong and then act.
