About Deborah Nethercutt, FNP

Deborah Nethercutt, FNP, is a certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) through the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. Serving in pulmonology, Deborah ensures high-quality healthcare that is patient centered and holistic. Her evidence-based care considers each patient’s individual situation and empowers them in the management of their health.

As a nurse practitioner (NP), Deborah provides care similar to that of physicians — she conducts physical examinations, diagnoses and manages a wide range of health conditions, and develops treatment plans. An NP can also prescribe medications, allowing Deborah to deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care.

“I believe that healthcare is most effective when patients feel heard, respected and supported,” she says. “My approach combines clinic expertise with compassionate care to help individuals achieve the best outcomes.

Her passion for healthcare has been deeply shaped by personal losses to cancer, …experiences that gave her firsthand insight into the challenges patients and families face during serious illness. “These experiences have inspired my commitment to helping others navigate complex health decisions with knowledge, empathy and support,” she says.

With a blend of personal experience and professional dedication, Deborah continues to drive her mission of delivering exceptional care while helping patients and families feel valued and cared for throughout their healthcare journey.

Deborah received her Master of Science in Nursing with a Family Nurse Practitioner concentration from Goshen College in Goshen, Indiana. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Bethel College in Mishawaka, Indiana.
