Dr. Deborah Mary Ort, MD

I’ve had consistently disappointing experiences with Dr. Deborah Ort. Each visit — which has only been about once a year — has left me feeling frustrated and unheard, particularly regarding the care of my 2-year-old. From the very first appointment, it was clear to me that she would not be a good fit as my child’s primary care provider. Her bedside manner is severely lacking — often making snarky comments and providing what felt like a rushed, superficial exam. I’ve rarely encountered a physician so dismissive, especially when dealing with a young child. At times, it has even made me question whether implicit bias may be playing a role, which is deeply concerning. As someone who is insured and expects respectful, competent care, this experience has been completely unacceptable. I would not recommend Dr. Ort to anyone, and I sincerely hope she receives feedback or additional training on professional and compassionate patient care.
