I like this doctor, but waiting period to be seen and results from tests were terrible. Up to a month for cancer test result.

In 1988, DR. Turner performed radical surgery on me for Cervical Cancer. I had major complications of surgery-thru no fault of the surgical team. ( I know she would remember my case-as a Surgical Nurse and wife of a Surgeon, I know that mine was one of those "Horror Stories" that the team will never forget!) I truly believe that had I not had my surgery done by Dr. Turner and her team at UIHC, I would not have survived. She is such a talented, compassionate woman-I owe her my life!

Having had dealings with other doctors in the Des Moines area, I was referred to Turner by another patient. Her care, concern and professionalism were very reassuring and helpful in a very stressful time. I have given her name to many of my friends and acquaintances needing expert care.

Loved her attitude and personality, always kind and I never felt like she rushed me through an appointment to get on to the next person.
