The office is over crowded with patients and it takes MONTHS to get an appointment. The staff at the counter is extremely rude, we were 10 minutes late (no other patients in the lobby by the way) and the lady at the counter said “Umm, do you not know what time your appointment was? Because you were suppose to be here 15 minutes early.” My husband was livid and ready to leave. Every time we do have an appointment, we wait for over an hour to see anyone. It’s a real peach to sit there for over an hour with a toddler wanting to run around and go through all the cabinets. Several times this has happened and my husband or myself look out the door to see the staff sitting around laughing and talking about unrelated work issues. The office staff is awful. Especially the one lady with long brown hair at the front desk who appears to bathe in an ashtray, she never has a clean appearance. Dr. Weyer is amazing, she is a very competent doctor and I trust her taking care of my children, but her… office is too busy and it’s very unfortunate that we will have to find another doctor for our children.

Wait More than half an hour, then only spent 5 minutes with us and no apologize for the late at all. Not patient to answer questions, no followups ever. The woman at check-in desk at CMS is rude. Stay away.

My children LOVE going to their pediatrician because Dr. Weyer treats everyone like family not just another dollar in her paycheck!!! She is the greatest in this area.She did relocate to the Childrens MEdical Services Building on SW 16th Avenue in Gainesville and we followed her there as well. She is most definitely the doctor my children will keep seeing!!!

I went through probably 6 different pediatricians when my son was first born. It seemed like most of them wanted to rush me out or didn't listen to my concerns. The few that did got my son behind on shots or sick from improper hand washing. Let's say most were a joke. Then I met Dr. Weyer at Shands Starke Medical Group. She is so great. She listens to me, she explains everything, she wants whats best for my son, and he has never been behind on anything since he started going there. She is awesome!
