Dr. Debra Lynn Chernosky, MD

The receptionist took my Medicare and secondary insurance cards and didn't mention that I had to pay up front. Upon leaving, I purchased (foolishly) a $34 bottle of sunscreen protection. When I handed over my credit card I was presented with a 204.00 charge and was told that Dr. Chernosky accepts Medicare but the patient has to pay and then wait to be reimbursed by Medicare. Needless to say, I will not go back to her clinic. I've been on Medicare for 10 years and have never had to pay upfront. Her practice should require notification upfront - not after the patient has seen her. Her approach is deceptive.

I am Dr. Chernosky's patient. I cannot get an appointment because her staff does not answer messages they ask you to leave. Everything is automated as is everywhere, you have NO live person to talk to but other med. offices RESPOND to the messages patients leave. This is pretty upsetting especially considering the fact that Dr. Chernosky is an experienced and highly skilled professional.

I have been going to Dr. Chernosky for years. Excellent, professional, skilled physician.

Great doctor all around

Dr. Chernosky is very skilled in diagnosing and treating skin problems and skin diseases. I have seen other doctors in the past, but she is really the best, and so now I only see her. She has diagnosed dermatitis and acne problems for me that other doctors have dismissed or misdiagnosed, and her suggestions and treatment have always been successful. She also found and biopsied a skin cancer that another doctor misdiagnosed and mistreated. And it's easy to get an appointment with her, even though I see her for medical treatment and not cosmetic botox, etc. Too many other dermatologists have pushed aside their medical cases and give better care to cosmetic customers, but not Dr. Chernosky. I would recommend her to anyone.

My daughters and I have been going to Dr. Chernosky for several years. We could not be more pleased. She is a very caring physician and we won't go to anyone else. She is not on our insurance plan, but we still would rather go to her than anybody else. She is always prompt and on time with her appointments and her staff is very friendly.

I had a mole removed by Dr. Chernosky and the results are very poor. The surgery was very painful. And now I have an ugly, huge scar that has been bothering me for years now (itching, pain, redness). I feel that Dr. Chernosky did not care to help me resolve this problem & was not very nice at my subsequent post-op visits. I wish I had never had this surgery done by her. It's been a horrible experience.

Her beauty treatments (Botox, fillers, etc.) are expensive, but she is very, very good and conservative. Her nurses are quite caring and so is the rest of the staff. She also happens to be a good diagnostician. I have been seeing her and so has the rest of my family for about 16 years.
