Dr. Debra Goldman Curtis, MD

I have been seen with Dr. Curtis for a few year now . She is absolutely the Best . She takes her time to explain things , she doesn’t hurry you up . She is patient and she cares . She listen to you , she always calls with tests results right away . The portal is always updated . She returns calls promptly. She is the best . Highly recommend.

It saddens me deeply to write this poor review. My husband and I have been with Debra Curtis for more than 10 years. When we first started with her, we really thought she was an excellent doctor who was energetic and we felt she truly cared about our health. I had recommended her to many people and still have friends who are her patients. Over the last few years, however, we noticed a slight change-less enthusiastic, somewhat disengaged. My poor rating is due to a recent incident. My husband and I were in the process of applying for an upgrade in our insurance coverage. We are in excellent health , take no medication and very proactive with our health.. We were confident that because of our good health we would have no problem with the upgrade. After a month of the health insurance company working to get our medical records from Dr Curtis office (I am sure Covid played a part into the delay) we were denied an upgrade in our policy. What we found out totally floored us. After… our last physical, Dr Curtis notified us both of our blood work as she always did by phone. My husband and I were in the car traveling when she called with the results. When discussing my husbands bloodwork she mentioned that his sugar level was on the high side, but nothing to worry about. She said nothing to alarm us about his EKG. We did not seek out or request a copy of the blood works results-we never felt the need to. Had we done that we would have seen that Dr Curtis said in her notes that his sugar level was "dangerously high" and that is EKG was "irregular" and a "concern". At no time during our car conversation with Dr Curtis did she say she was concerned about his sugar level or EKG . But if his sugar level is dangerously high-wouldn't you expect Dr Curtis to suggest a follow up? Come back in 2 months or something along those lines? I am beyond disappointed with Dr Curtis's care and judgement. But most importantly we trusted Dr Curtis . The physical was year and a half ago-my husband is fine, but what if he wasn't? Isn't that why you have a doctor?

Dr. Debra Curtis is the best internist ever - she is caring, she takes the time to listen to all your issues, she is a great diagnostician, and knows how to project your immediate needs and has the knowledge and skills to anticipate what might be needed in the future with your current conditions. I love appreciate her excellent skills and would recommend her to anyone looking for this type of doctor. She truly is the best!

My first visit with Dr. Debra Curtis was a positive experience. Staff was friendly & efficient. I was seen promptly even though I ran 10 minutes late because I got lost. I'm new to the area & felt nervous after a bad PCP experience 1 week before my appt with Dr. Curtis. I was able to share concerns & medical issues with Dr. Curtis that were not mentioned to staff when I scheduled my appt. She listened, showed genuine concern, offered advice, & scheduled a follow up. I never felt rushed & left the office feeling grateful for a positive experience.

Dr. Curtis is an A++++ doctor. She takes her time with each patient and really listens to them. Her staff is excellent, too. I've been seeing Dr. Curtis for years and would never give her up.

I was with this doctor for 2 years, 2 years too long. The staff is incompetent, disorganized, and careless with all things having to do with patient care, privacy, and accuracy with patient information...truly had several terrible experiences, one worse than the other. Never returning.

Dr. Curtis is very thorough and caring. While you may wait a bit longer for an appointment than you may like, she really devotes the time to you when you are with her.
