Dr. Debra Marie Daemmrich, MD

Dr. Daemmerich is outstanding - the best GP (and more) I ever had. Sadly, she is no longer at Highland Family, and hadn’t been for several years. I don’t understand why they continue to advertise her as one of their doctors.

I went to see Dr, Daemmrich, which I cannot advise strongly enough that you avoid her at ALL COSTS. She refused to refill more than half of the prescriptions that I had been getting (stuff like allergy meds etc). She cut my medicine just because she didn't like the dosage. It had been my dosage for years without incident. She didn't listen to ANYTHING I said. I need a doctor who cares about his/her patients & doesn't just leave them hanging. I don't know why she even bothered to meet with me since she didn't listen to a word I said. I could have just stayed home & she could have cut my medications without me even being there, as my input was completely ignored. There are a lot of normal medications that she will not prescribe based "on principle". I was left hanging without migraine medicine & was told to see about 6 different specialists to get my prescriptions filled. This is the reason health care has run a muck. Instead of just getting your prescription filled, you have to waste… THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS & a ton of time running to specialists for regular refills on normal medications.I'm an intelligent person who isn't used to being summarily dismissed. Most of Highland Family's clientele is like me. They won't accept this dismissive behavior either.

I see Dr. Daemmrich in her Mequon location (Highland Family Health Clinic). I am very impressed by her as a doctor. She is very knowledgeable and caring. She is very punctual for a doctor and takes times with you in your appointment. She listens and asks questions and never seems to be coming in and out in a rush like other doctors. I'm very glad I found her as a doctor and would definitely recommend her to others.

Definetly would reccommend. Great Dr., not too great of a clinic. Wouldn't use clinic if it weren't for Dr. Daemmrich. She really connects with patient and is caring, makes things easy to understand and great follow up. Left my Dr. Of 5 years for her.

Dr. Daemmrich has been caring for myself & my two teen daughters for the last year. She is GREAT with the teen years and truely is a positive, proactive support leader in any health concerns. I highly recommend her.
