Dr. Debra Lynn Goldman, MD

They never...and I mean never...answer the phone. You get an endless automated voice and then it rings...and rings...and rings...and then you get a busy signal and hung up on! But wait, there's more! When you do get someone, they can barely speak or understand English, and if they don't like what you have to say, you guessed it - hung up on again! You can't get urgent appointments no matter what time you try to call. Instead of renewing routine prescriptions they make you come in to see the doctor. Well, I ran out of medication with no refill and no authorization because the staff couldn't be bothered to answer the phone and schedule me! If all that's not enough, the place itself is dirty - overflowing wastebaskets and biohazard containers just left open. Finally, she diagnosed me with something I do not have which was proven by the bloodwork I had! I am not going back!

The office staff is a bit disorganized, making follow up appointments at wrong locations, going over Med List I advised Medical Assistant what medication I was taking only to be asked again in the examination room by the MD and to find out what I said the first time wasn't even there. Why bother asking me? I've placed several calls and left messages with no response for the Nurse, only to having to keep calling back. Dr. Goldman is very good at what she does and takes her time.... but if your staff isn't all that good then, that's a HUGE problem!!

Dr. is fine, however the support staff and customer service at womens care is HORRIBLE!

I am a patient of dr.goldmans at womens care in east greenwich. I have to say I trust her with my life. She has been a very supporting doctor who really cares and does anything she possibly can to help you. She gives you the time and attition you need. I never feel rushed it is very relaxing in her office. Very orginized staff who care just as much as she does. Dr.Goldman is amazing in the office and the hospital. She delivered my son at WIH at 34weeks emergency c-section. As scared as I was she walked me through every second of it with me making sure I was ok and felt comfortible. She made sure she brought my baby into this world safe. Dr.Goldman is a wounderful person and doctor. If you're looking for a doctor that you want to feel safe and in good hands with Dr.Debra Goldman is the doctor you need to pick.

I am now 35.5 weeks preg and I have to say that I can't wait until it's over. I have reached a point with Dr. Goldman where I don't trust her. She has contradicted herself on many occasions, doesn't retain personal information about me or my situation and puts the fear of God in me if I do something she doesn't agree with (like having a bagel for lunch). The office staff are very sweet but incredibly disorganized. I get frequent calls to verify appointments I do not have, I sit on hold for far too long then opt to leave a message, never with a call back the same day (no matter how early the message is left), and I tried for 3 weeks UNSUCCESSFULLY to have a letter retyped on letterhead to relieve me of two duties required at work. She talks over me frequently and I am not a long winded person. I was just informed at my last visit that there are 5 other doctors at the practice and any one of them could be delivering my baby. At what point would they have told me that if I hadn't asked?… Now I have very little opportunity to become acquainted with any of these doctors. Fantastic. =/
