Dr. Debra Sue Gorin

Look up Debra Gorin places of business...several in Florida, Idaho, Pennsylvania.....then take a look at Utube Mormons at the Doctor's office. My experience with her was totaly gasping. Would not recommend her as a doctor.

I was a patient several yrs ago and am sorry I didn't file complaints with the AMA and any other medical organization I could think of. Dr. Gorin was totally unprofessional and self involved. She spent my sessions talking about online dating sites and her business. She talked about hiring me to work for her. Last but not least, when I was very upset one day in her office and in a haze from all the drugs she prescribed to me, she called the police to come and Baker Act me. Any doctor on the ball would have known that I was not a harm to myself or anyone else - I was just horribly depressed!! Of course noone hospitalized me because they realized I didn't need that. All this caused me was embarrasment, humiliation, and incredibly high bills from a hospitalin which I spent 3 horrible hours.

Dr. Gorin is not a caring psychiatrist. She was running late and didn't bother to apologize. I was rushed out in less than 10 minutes after waiting for 50 minutes and she basically just asked about my medication and if I needed more. Would NEVER go back to her. She's also very rude to her staff.

debra gorin used to work in Idaho and decided to move to florida and abandoned all her patients with no warning whatsoever. i also frequently had to wait almost an entire hour after my scheduled appt time to see her. beware.

Dr. Gorin is my second experience seeing a psychiatrist. My first was an aging "left-over" hippie from the late '60's early '70's. I saw him for four years until he moved out of state with his llamas. In all that time, he never came up with a diagnosis for me. He put words in my mouth--to fit a diagnosis so my insurance would pay his fees. Dr. Gorin listened and she helped me very much and is still continuing to help me. I feel that I have started to stabilize in the past two weeks. I would highly recommend her.

Was Not Very Open To Changing Diagnoses. Staff Was Friendly Enough But I Felt Like Dr. Gorin Had More Issues To Discuss Than I Did. When Protesting A Change Of Medication She Acted Like The Only Reason I Had For Wanting Things To Stay At The Status Quo Was That I Was Oh So Obviously Some Kinda Addict. If Its Not Broken Don't Try To Fix It. Wouldn't Recommend.
