I DISAGREED WITH THE 2 REVIEWS I HAVE JUST READ. I HAVE BEEN A PATIENT OF DR. D. MANGINO'S FOR ABOUT 9 YEARS NOW. I AM A HIGH RISK FOR BREAST CANCER. MY MOTHER AND MATERNAL AUNT HAD BREAST CANCER. DR. MANGINO SENDS ME FOR MY PROPER SCREENING AND FOLLOWS-UP DILIGENTLY WHEN AN ISSUE ARISES AND THERE HAVE BEEN QUITE A FEW ANXIETY RIDDEN ISSUE OVER THE YEARS. I WOULD RECOMMEND HER WHOLE-HEARTEDLY.

After having seen me twice before, she introduced herself to me, as if we hadn't met yet. Then, my file in her hand, she asked if I had BRCA2 (the information was in my file). She got her facts straight and examined me, and then she advised me to get a mammogram and MRI every year. While I was paying, she ran out and said, "actually, get tested every six months."It's a shame, because Dr. Heerdt, the surgeon at MSK, is wonderful.
