Dr. Debra Ann Muggler, MD

I recently went with my mother to a visit with Dr. Muggler. Not only was she rude, condescending, and spoke over me during the entire visit, she was also not proactive or helpful in creating a plan for my mother’s care. In the appointment, I was the only one coming up with solutions, while Dr. Muggler brought none to the table and contradicted herself multiple times. I would never choose Dr. Muggler for my personal physician and the contrast in bedside manner and professionalism was vastly different from the physicians I personally see.

To leave Dr. Muggler anything less than 5 stars is insanity. Dr. Muggler is such an amazing and caring professional. She takes the time to actually get to know you and at each visit takes a genuine interest in your life. She is just a superbly holistic HCP, and I can't imagine having any other physician. She is thorough and knowledgeable with a great network of referrals for any other needs a patient might have.

Very cold not friendly and kinda rude

Dr Muggler has been my GP for several years. I look forward to my visits because she listens with concern, asks appropriate questions, and helps with finding specialists as needed. Her caring is obvious, and she is as gentle as possible with all procedures. I highly recommend her. My only problem now is that she is so busy that it is somewhat difficult to get an appointment other than the yearly scheduled check up.

I have been with her for many years and it's getting to be more and more of a strain to stay with her moving from one place to the next and she just isn't that good. I have an ailment and she refers me to someone else without even looking to see if it's something she could handle and at times she just doesn't seem very bright. So it's time for me to quit being lazy and find a new Doctor, I just don't want you to waste a lot of time, it's not that shes really bad it's just that she could be so much better and you want that in a Doctor.

She was a very cold woman that treated me more like a number than a patient. She made me feel like she was so much better than me and showed no compassion. I came out of her office feeling much worse then when I went in.

I was very upset how I was treated at this office visit. She was rude and I felt like I was being talked down to.

I have seen Dr. Muggler on several occasions only to wonder why I even bothered going back to see her since I am very bothered how she makes me feel. I am looked down upon and when speaking to her about my health she quickly says aha. Sometimes I wonder if she here's what I am saying. I have decided I will be changing physicians since I am so unhappy with her service. I also believe she looks down on others since she is dressed to go to an evening event every time I have seen her. I think she should take a class on how to treat others and not judge them.

I've dealt with a lot of doctors both in my profession and as a patient. Dr. Muggler is by far the most pathetic excuse for a doctor I have ever seen. When I went to see her for my first time I wanted to give her a brief health history since I have a couple of chronic conditions. I got no response out of her and she acted totally disinterested. She cut me off and told me to get a gown on so she could give me a physical. She was obviously more interested in giving me a quick exam because you can't charge for listening to a person. I wasn't ready for the exam yet because I hadn't had the chance to tell her my issues yet. I told her that I had developed a number of problems. She actually told me to pick 2 or 3 because she didn't have time to deal with more than that. She has extremely poor listening skills. There were several times she made statements that made it clear she hadn't listened to what I had just told her. She didn't want to deal with my symptoms and just wanted to send me off… to a specialist that had nothing to do with my symptoms. No thanks to her I later found out that I was seriously ill and that the problems I had been having were all classic symptoms of that illness. If she had just put in a minimal effort she may have been able to put 2 and 2 together and helped me instead of giving me her dismissive arrogant attitude. By the way, I also have cancer which I told her. She didn't bother asking me a single question about that. I don't know why she is a doctor since it's obvious she doesn't like people. She needs to find a new career that doesn't involve contact with the public.

I usually do not take the time to write reviews, but after my expereince last week I felt it was necessary, so others could possibly avoid the experience I had. I went in to see Dr. Muggler with what I now find out from many is a "classic example" of shingles. When Dr. Muggler saw me, and asked me the purpose of my visit, I suggested that I may have shingles based on my symptoms, and the rash on my face and head. She looked at me and immediately dimissed my case as "something we may never know the cause of, but let it run its course". Needless to say two days later, experiencing more pain on only one side and a larger rash, I felt I needed to get a second opinion. The second doctor (who is not part of ProHealth Care) immediately walked in the room and said "it looks like someone has the shingles", as his nurse who had been gathering my information shook her head in agreement. Five days later I am still in pain, but am at least getting the needed treatment to prevent further… complications, versus "letting it run its course". I wish I would have read the reviews prior to selecting a doctor as I may have avoided this frustration. I take my health seriously, and I am looking for a physician that does the same, and obviously this is not a match for me, especially when the case that was presented cannot be accurately diagnosed by an experienced internist.
