Summary
I feel I was called into nursing early on. I love the complexity of medicine and get great satisfaction by being able intervene and change the course of illness. My faith and family have been the biggest influences in my life. Each day I get excited to come to work because of the relationships I form with my patients and feeling that I have made a difference in someone's life. I volunteer for activities at my kid's school and through my church. I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, scrap booking and traveling. I feel healthcare should be a team approach with the provider and patient working together as one. It is my job to advise my patients on issues and educate as needed while guiding the patient to make the decision that makes the most sense for them. It's a privilege to be a part of this partnership.
