Debra G Wechter, MD, FACS

Dr. Debra Wechter is an oncology and surgery specialist who earned her medical degree from the University of California, Davis in 1980. She completed her general surgery residency at the University of Washington Medical Center in Seattle in 1985, followed by specialized fellowship training in hepatobiliary pancreatic surgery at Virginia Mason Medical Center in 1989. Dr. Wechter is board-certified in surgery by the American Board of Surgery and holds the distinction of being a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS). She provides care to patients in English.

Dr. Wechter practices at Virginia Mason Medical Center and Saint Anne Hospital in Seattle, Washington. She specializes in treating various forms of breast cancer, including metastatic and recurrent cases. Her expertise also extends to managing Paget disease of the breast, a rare form of breast cancer.
