Dr. Debra Lee Wilder

Dr. Wilder's office uses a third party biller that is incompetent. As a result, several of my claims were not filed in a timely manner and were denied by my insurance. Instead of taking that issue up with their biller, Dr. WILDER insisted that I pay the entire amount myself, not the negotiated fee, not my part, but the entire bill as if I had no insurance. When I contacted my insurance company, they informed Dr. Wilder's office that, per their provider agreement, since the claims were not filed in a timely manner, that no balance was allowed to be billed to the patient. Dr. Wilder's office continued to bill me the entire amount anyway, and eventually sent me to collection, even though I did pay the amount I would have owed had they filed my insurance appropriately. I was told by Susan, very rudely in front of a waiting room of patients, that since I had an outstanding balance, that I could not be seen in the office until I paid in full. I gladly changed doctors. I DO NOT recommend this… doctor or office.

I've been seeing Dr. Wilder for 16 or 17 years. Wouldn't think of going to anyone else, A specialist if I needed it. She spends plenty of time with you. It's not hard to get an appt. and you don't wait long in the waiting room.

Dr Debra Wilder is very professional and very knowledgeable. I appreciate her kindness and caring manner. I would definitely refer any one looking for a great health care provide.

She pulled me out of some stuff that other doctors would not touch and I really like her

Doctor was lazy when it came to filling out paperwork. Not very cognitive when it came KY House Bill 217, which several mistakes were made, on her part. Lack of knowledge of ergonomic issues.
