Dr. Debra Williams

Debra Williams is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with over 13 years of experience assisting teens, adults, and seniors. Her goal has been to focus on examining how the past may be affecting the present, teaching the strength and confidence needed to heal from feelings of anger, pain, helplessness, loneliness, anxiety, and depression, which often surface as a result of trauma. Debra earned her Master's degree in Social Work from the University of Southern California. She provides a culturally competent, judgment-free safe zone for each client to share aspects of themselves and their goals. She meets each person where they are, utilizing a variety of strengths-based techniques such as motivational interviewing, acceptance and commitment, cognitive behavioral methods (CBT), and talk therapy to address each area of concern. She has also been honored to work with women, veterans, teens, and families affected by the issues of domestic violence, homelessness, suicide, and rape.
