Dr. Deebeanne M Tavani, DO

Extremely professional, friendly & expert in her field. What stands out is that Dr. Tavani treats her patients on a caring, personal level. She does not rush patients and is an active listener. She has been treating me for years and I value her advice and expert treatment. She is THE BEST!!!!

I was a patient of Dr. Tavani who has been diagnosed with Hashimoto's disease years ago. When Dr. Tavani was ordering blood work for me, I asked that she request a test for Hashimoto's antibodies as if they were very high I may entertain seeing a nutritionist for dietary guidance. She flat out refused to order the test because she said it wouldn't alter my synthroid dose....which I already knew. I guess I'm not entitled to information about my body in her opinion. I strongly disagree.

All around one of the finest physicians I have had the pleasure to know and be a patient of for over 3 years. She is a great listener and always takes time to discuss your condition and answer all of your health questions. Truly a great doctor.

As a diabetic patient of Dr. Tavani since about 1997, I've always been impressed with her precise attention to appointment times, having never seen a jam-packed waiting area and hardly ever being required to wait more than a few minutes after arrival at her office. Dr. Tavani's examinations are thorough; her assessments are fully explained in an articulate manner; and she is just stern enough with her instructions to motivate compliance. If I were a King and could have any Endocrinologist in the world take care of my diabetes problem, it would be Dr. Deebeanne M. Tavani, hands down!!! She is great!!!

I found her not flexible with my treatment. I couldn't afford the brand name of the prescription, and Dr. Tavani didn't allow me to switch to the generic. I wanted a different approach in preparation for a full body scan, and she again wasn't flexible.

Dr. Tavani is a very caring doctor. She treats you like a person, not a patient.

Explains everything including negatives, follows up with patients and is always right on time with appointments (subject to the normal in hospital emergencies

Dr. Tavani had been my endocrinologist for many years. She is kind, compassionate, a wonderful listener and communicator, and thoroughly takes an interest in her patients. She spends as much time as needed and I have never felt rushed. Dr. Tavani was not accepting new patients. She informed me it is because she wants to spend enough time with all of her patients, and her schedule does allow not her to keep adding patients. How rare and most admirable! I feel so confident in her medical skills and know that I am getting the best care possible. Must make an appointment way in advance, though.
