After 2 ER visits within 2 months (CHI Lakeside) I can say Dr. Singh has been a godsend. I'm 67, and he must be THE most thorough and complete doctor I've ever known. Testing, re-testing, follow-up, you name it, I felt like I had a personal physician during my hospital stay. My at-home post visit recovery is going so well- I'm breathing and have more energy than I've had in months. Will follow up my my GP and pulmonary doc shortly. Hospitalist don’t do follow ups, they recommend you see your primary care doctor. So they also don’t take appointments and have office hours. So your rating system is not reflective of the kind of care the doctor gives. Dr. Singh is the best in our eyes!

After being in the er Friday sent home, saying it was still diverticulitis. my husband had to return on Sunday do to extreme abdominal pain, fever and throwing up. Same as Friday, when Dr. Singh came in we told him what was said Friday and that this was not the same pain. Dr Singh admitted my husband to get IV antibiotics thinking he wasn’t getting them in his system due to throwing up. Monday morning he came in still my husband was in extreme pain nothing was giving him relief. Dr. Singh said he Would order a CT scan Tuesday if my husband wasn’t better. I told the dr. To check his appendix because everything was pointing to that. He shrugged me off. Later that night I pulled my husbands my chart and saw he had. Blood infection and his blood counts were off. I was upset and spoke with a nurse to find out why I was not informed. They were surprised that doctor Singh did not inform us. Finally Tuesday my husband got another CT scan. My husbands appendix had burst that Friday and he was… now septic because of it. Way to go Doctor and lakeside. Terrible hospital and very unprofessional Doctor
